Allison loves bringing the arts and a developmental perspective into diverse educational and mental health settings with children, youth, and families. She has previously worked as a music and drama instructor, religious educator, program coordinator, special education teacher, child mental health specialist, and everything in between! Allison believes early opportunity for self-expression, autonomy, and connection through creativity is a child’s gift for life. Allison received her B.A. in Theater Performance from the College of Wooster and is earning her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University. Allison loves being active in nature, drumming, writing, mindfulness practice, cooking, taking care of her plants, fur babies, and spending time with family.
